Account and learning information
Clerk provides sign-in and session management. Depending on your sign-in method, it processes your email, profile information and authentication information. CuspHub uses the verified account identifier to keep your learning records separate from other accounts.
CuspHub stores learning preferences, equipment choices, course progress and notebook reflections in its database. The browser also stores language preferences and account-scoped learning state so work can be restored. Avoid putting sensitive personal or workplace information in practice notes.
Private feedback and optional uploads
When you send feedback, we store the message, course or lesson, optional rating, submission time and account identifier. Bug reports can include optional screenshots or videos. Device details are sent only when you select that option; the form shows what will be shared.
Feedback is not a public review. You can see and delete your submissions. The CuspHub owner can review stored requests; other learners cannot browse them. Attachments are kept in private storage.
Optional AI learning feedback
Where enabled, you can choose to send a short explanation, problem description or learning goal to TypeSafe for feedback, troubleshooting or an activity suggestion. For explanation feedback, we send your text, the current lesson concept and the practice-check status shown in the interface. For troubleshooting, we send your description, the lesson, the selected practice or setup mode and reviewed help candidates. For activity suggestions, CuspHub uses your saved practice checks and selected time/resources to filter free virtual activities, then sends only your goal and eligible activity descriptions to TypeSafe. For tool-fit help, CuspHub filters its catalog by your selected constraints and sends your goal and relevant reviewed tool descriptions. We do not include your email, account identifier, other notebook entries or attachments in the TypeSafe request. Do not include personal information, passwords or keys in your submitted text.
This additional text is held in the current interface and processed for the requested feedback; CuspHub does not save it as a transcript. Separate notebook saving still works as described above. We store daily request counts with your account identifier to limit usage. Counters older than the current and previous UTC day are removed by scheduled daily cleanup; service interruptions can delay cleanup. TypeSafe’s own processing and retention terms also apply. Ordinary lessons and completion checks do not require this optional feedback.
Services that operate the platform
CuspHub uses Vercel for hosting and private file storage, PlanetScale for application data, and Clerk for authentication. These providers process information needed to operate their services, including technical connection and security logs.
External tool links lead to separate services with their own accounts, costs and privacy terms. Your CuspHub sign-in does not grant those tools access to your files. Review their settings before sending information or connecting an account.
Storage and deletion
Learning records and feedback text currently have no automatic expiration. You can delete a feedback submission in My submissions; it disappears from your view immediately and is queued for permanent cleanup. Attachment cleanup is scheduled after 90 days, or after one day for unfinished uploads. Cleanup timing can depend on scheduled jobs and service availability.
To request a copy, correction or deletion of your account and saved application data, use Account & data requests. The owner handles these requests manually after verifying the account. Removing an authentication account alone does not automatically remove learning records or feedback. Provider backups and security logs may follow separate retention schedules.
Contact and current limits
CuspHub is operated by its project owner. Use the private account request form to ask about data handling. Requests currently require an accessible CuspHub account; there is no separate public support email.
